Are the storms of life battering you
at this very moment?

Does your heart ache with sorrow
from the loss of someone dear to you?

Have you lost all hope?
On a hill near a stream, they silently weep...
Like guardians of gates, their vigil they keep.

The wind in the willows, their leaves they do sway...
As a reminder of sorrow, with each passing day.

Planted by hands and hearts that do ache...
Planted by brothers for their dear sister's sake.

The willow it weeps, And so do we,
                                        For now there are two...
                                               Where once there were three.

In memory of my sister, Kristi Rosage Bishop,
by Bernie Rosage, Jr., Copyright 2001.
Welcome to "Weeping Willows". My name is Bernie. I created this site for two reasons. First, as a memorial to my sister, Kristi, who was killed in an auto accident on July 20, 1998 and second, as a source of comfort, peace, and hope for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. I used the name "Weeping Willows" because my brother, Mike, and I each planted a weeping willow tree at the graveyard where our sister is buried as a reminder of our love for her for generations to come.

These pages are a  collection of poems, stories, scriptures, and letters that comforted me and my family through Kristi's death. Some, I personally wrote, while others are links to pages that touched me in special ways. Please take time to read Kristi's page, she was a beautiful person inside and out as you will see. I have even included links to various grief resources that may be helpful in your struggle. Take your time as you view these pages. I pray they touch you in some way.
